What is the NYBL?
The Norfolk Youth Basketball League is a new central venue league (CVL) competition for young players aged 9-17.

Who is eligible to enter the NYBL?
Any junior basketball club registered with Basketball England is eligible to enter teams into the NYBL.

Are the divisions based on school year or year of birth?
NYBL age groups are determined by school year, i.e. taking account of a player's age on the 1st September. Please refer to the table below to identify the correct age group according to a player's date of birth.

How do I enter a team in the the NYBL?
To enter a team into the NYBL follow the instructions on the How To Enter page.

How do I provide feedback on a match or official?
To provide feedback complete the online Match & Officiating Feedback form.

How do I register to referee or officiate at NYBL competitions?
To register as a NYBL Table Official or Referee complete the online Table Official & Referee Registration form. All match officials must be registered with Basketball England before officiating any game. Officials who are not already attached to a club should attach to the 'dummy' junior club within the Clubs & Teams section of the Basketball England Membership Portal (Club Name: NYBL / CA Code: CA5059).
